Shinjuku Gyoen is a big park located in Shinjuku District. It was built during the Edo Period and became a public park in 1949. It has three different types of gardens, all very popular as destination for 'Hanami' (viewing cherry blossoms) during Spring. I first knew about the park from an anime called 'Garden of Words'. I love taking a stroll throughout the park. There were many leaves on the ground. The trees remind me of my country. The admission fee is 500yen, and I think it's worth it.
